As a Delaware native and resident, I have to say, BACK OFF! The reason we have so much traffic is that every other state uses us as a pass through. Seriously, only about 3 out of 10 drivers on I-95 are actually Delaware drivers. Out-of-state drivers: If you don't like the traffic- stay out of the state. That would solve our problem completely.

Thanks a lot. Guess where I'm headed this weekend?

That's right. Delaware. Home of tax-free shopping.

Haha.... I like the realistic traffic signs idea. You could absolutely turn that into a career.

I love your revised signs. Especially the asshole one.

It's like you read my mind. Seriously. IT"S OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!

My husband is from Delaware and I don't think he would be offended by this post. He is too offended by Delaware's freaking traffic!

Do you know Catherine? Because, if you do, I think she just broke up with you. DUDE!

Also, I love your signs. Your photoshop skillz are just about as good as mine. Just about.

I did the New England to DC trip back and forth for a few years and Delaware was just, quite simply, in the way. I never had any shopping to do that would make the tax-free option all that exciting, and the toll at the bridge more than covered whatever my savings might have been.

Nice signs :)

As a kid I lived in PA, but my parents worked in DE and my sister and I went to school in DE; every time we would drive over the border and see the sign that said "Delaware: a small wonder" one of us would say, "Delaware: a small blunder". Delaware has some very interesting and great things, traffic is not one of them.

The world could certainly use more signs like yours.
