I just got done with a sweet 12-hour work day... and that's right, it's Saturday. But that's OK, because I'm looking forward to another Super Productive Day Off on Monday (with a trip to Home Depot! For flowers and gas for the grill and a new dust broom! EXCITING!) (And I might go to to Bed Bath and Beyond, but I'm just not sure if there'll be time)
(Sorry, I can never resist saying that whenever I mention a trip to Home Depot. You forgive me.)
So now I'm celebrating being done with a long work day by camping out in my hotel room and watching Monday's episode of Heroes on the internet. best. episode. ever. I love that Hiro is all mature and Peter is all scruffy and angsty. I love scruffy men. He'd be really, really hot if they didn't make him wear Neo's overcoat from The Matrix. Seriously.
Speaking of Peter Petrelli, I suppose you all heard the news that Gilmore Girls has been canceled. I was informed via an email from Joel on Thursday that had a subject of "Good riddance to bad rubbish", the body of which contained only that link. Honestly, I think it's time. There is a limit to the number of broken engagements/divorces one character can go through before it just becomes boring, and Lorelei crossed that line about three seasons ago.
Besides, Rory and Logan's void will be more than filled by The Pussycat Dolls' mission to clone themselves. I'll take choreographed burlesque dancing over ridiculously witty and fast conversations any day.
And so ends the most discombobulated and boring post ever, because it's past 10pm on a Saturday night and I need to go pop some Lunestas so I can pass out and make my 9am flight home tomorrow. I wanted to get home as early as possible in order to take advantage of a Sunday Afternoon Of Doing Nothing. It's what all the cool kids do.
*snuffles loudly*
But, I love me some Gilmore!

I'm over Gilmore, too. But I still am a little sad for the show's bygone halcyon days!
